Social Committee
- The DRCHOA Social Committee exists in order to promote a sense of community among all residents. If you have any suggestions, please contact one of the committee members.
- The Social Committee provides welcome baskets to new residents of our community. These baskets are funded entirely by donations, not association dues. Association members are encouraged to donate to the committee during social events or at the annual membership meeting.
- At the Fall and Spring Cleanups, the Social Committee typically provides refreshments for either breakfast or lunch or both, depending on the length of the activity. If a potluck dinner is held afterward, then residents are encouraged to bring food for that.
- The DRCHOA Social Committee will sometimes organize a rotating dinner in which participants gather at one home for an appetizer, then move on to another home for an entrée and finally move to a third home for dessert. Particpants sign up for the dish they wish to prepare.
- In the past, the Social Committee has organized trips to sports and cultural events, sometimes at a discount for residents.
